Hello Friends in Christ
I'm sorry missed out on the Harvest Crusade. I saw the pictures a couple of short videos. I pray that you are all seeking God's direction for your lives. Justin, you captured the atmosphere of the Harvest Crusade beautifully in your words. God is so good. Let's keep in touch, share with one another, ask for prayer, just as Michelle has asked us to.
I miss you all and hope to see you real soon.
Grace and peace to you all through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Karen

The Resurrection and the Life
To the Brethren,
I greet you all in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, who is about to return to Earth in great power and dazzling glory!
Grace, peace, love and joy be yours in overflowing.
My name is Eric, and I was invited by the Christian Deaf Ministry to write and post some blogs here. I read the blog on the Harvest Crusade, and unfortunately, I was not able make it. Two weeks ago, on Thursday, I left with Ted for Lake Arrowhead up in the Mountains (Big Bear I think...whichever Mountain has Lake Arrowhead in it) for a friend's wedding. I was up there for a total of 3 days and 2 nights.
My friend, Sandon, got married to a beautiful woman by the name of Laura, and they are now officially called "the Larsons." During the marriage ceremony, as the Bride and Groom exchanged vows, the presence of the Lord fell upon that place, and emotions were running high, as the two became one under God. It was beautiful. It was powerful. It was HOLY, and that is what makes their marriage all the more beautiful, the fact that it was done in the FEAR of GOD.
I came back home finally late Saturday night, which might well have been Sunday by then, since it was close to midnight by that time, and it was such a relief to have finally laid down and slept in my bed. As I type this right now, a verse comes to mind. This is what it says:
Matthew 8:20 And Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has nowhere to lay his head.
When I read that verse, I cannot even begin to imagine what Jesus Christ went through for us...without rest, praying ceaselessly day and night to His Father in Heaven, interceding on our behalf, knowing full well that one day, He would have to be nailed to the Cross for our sins.
But our hope lies in that Jesus Christ, our great God and Savior, has been resurrected, and this brings to mind another verse, which says:
John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live...
Bearing in mind this hope, that Christ has been raised from the dead, we also have another hope to look forward to, known as the Blessed Hope, in which the Lord shall call all of us out from Heaven, and meet us in the clouds in great power and glory. On top of meeting our Creator, we will also be given an imperishable body that lasts; an incorruptible one as the Word says, and share (yes, that's right, you heard me), SHARE in the glory of God.
With that, I leave you with this, so that you keep your eyes on our King, and be ready at all times to watch for Him, for His coming is nearer than before, and this sense of urgency and imminency is far greater than it was in the past.
Revelation 2:1-5 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things says he that holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands; I know your works, and your labor, and your patience, and how you can not bear them who are evil: and you have tried them who say they are apostles, and are not, and have found them liars: And have endured, and have patience, and for my name's sake have labored, and have not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against you, because you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto you quickly, and will remove your lampstand out of its place, except you repent.
Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
God bless and stay strong in the faith!
In the Resurrection and the Life,
Eric

Last weekend of Harvest Crusade
Hi, everyone...
Last weekend of Harvest Crusades at Anaheim Stadium was awesome... Praise the Lord; people who came just accepted Jesus Christ in their heart 11,084 out from 109,000...
Last saturday, I was told that some of you tried to get into the gate, but the security or person told you that you can not come in. It was because of Fire Marshall told us to locked down since it was full people in the stadium. It was Anaheim Stadium's policy for safe reason... Next time, try to come early to get your seat. NO DST... =]
I like to share this with you what Justin said...
Justin's message: "my thought on last night"... (wrote by Aug 18.)
Yestesday was a quite hot humid day and it couldnt get any hotter but as the time passed by, it finally cooled down just in time for one last-time evening night of worshipping. The next thing is you know is that the whole Angel Stadium was filled immediately with such loud racketing but glorious praises to the one and our only true Savior, Jesus Christ, and also followed by even more thanksgivings to Him. Of course, some of the more memorable worshipping moments were made possible by LeeLand, Michael W. Smith and the other collaborated bands. After that that has passed, Pastor Greg Laurie came out to delivered his one last but his strongest message all weekend that theres a hope for hurting hearts and now is the time to bring Jesus back in the center of our lives. Those who have will find peace, love, joy in all their lives. WIth that said, nearly 4000 people made the decision to be saved or to recommit themselves that Sunday night alone.
GOD IS SO GOOD!
